Novel Summary

Ding Xiao transmigrates to Jingzhou during the late Han Dynasty and Three Kingdoms period. He starts with nothing but a broken bowl, barely enough to eat, and is even forced by the government to take a wife and a concubine. To ensure the survival of his family, Ding Xiao racks his brains, using his knowledge from before his transmigration to change himself and improve his status. He becomes a servant of the Huang family of Yuyang—the captain of the Huang family's merchant caravan—and a bodyguard for Huang Yueying, the young lady of the Huang family of Mianshui. His identity constantly changes. During this time, he hears many stories about geniuses: the genius Zhuge Liang, the genius Pang Tong, and the outstanding Xu Shu. Ding Xiao originally thought he would live a simple life with his wife and child. Until one day, while sitting in his thatched cottage in Longzhong, playing cards with Zhuge Liang, he sees three figures braving the wind and snow to approach. (Assisting Ji Hanliu, no system, multiple female leads)
