Rebirth Begins with a Treasure Hunt in the Forest

This is an animal kingdom, with red deer, wild boar, pheasants, elephants, and tigers and leopards. The rainforest's streams teem with salmon, soft-shelled turtles, giant river shrimp, and wild fish species not even listed in textbooks. It's also a mushroom paradise, teeming with bamboo fungus, red mushrooms, and porcini, as well as the king of mushrooms, the termite mushroom. The black soil accumulated over millions of years holds countless mountain delicacies: cloud ear fungus, pomelo, tamarind, passion fruit, as well as southern medicinal herbs, dragon's blood, *Homalomena occulta*, and *Hippophae rhamnoides*.
