Way above average, bordering good. Since original description is super short, I'll add mine. Rise of a transmigrator with a cheat. Yeah, I know, very original :) + Will not say that worldbuilding is super unique, but author has plenty of new ideas and it's interesting to read (which is rare). Still it has very obvious flaws (see below), but at least this author has tried and succeeded to some degree. - I don't know if it's a trend or something, but I've read plenty of still ongoing novels, where within stable world there is some "Weirdness", which is not explained in any way, breaks basic rules and seemingly exists just to add mystery or be something like instance/dungeon (speaking in gaming terms). - Political system is weird. Also there is that vibe "government good, companies bad", which is later upgraded to "China good, other countries bad". OK, there is no China, Da Shun or whatever, but when some plot is about numerous immigrants from this Dashun and characters in these countries have European/American names, you start to have associations. - Cheat is OP and upgrades later (obviously). At the start it's virtual clone/incarnation which can augment overall power/transfer damage/debufs (sorry for the gaming slang). Plus it already has built-in growth function. - MC is low-key, but somehow (yeah, right) his big fights get streamed in real time in a stadiums full of people. OK, I'm exaggerating, but it's really very obvious and while I understand that author is just catering to certain group of readers, this element is way way over tuned. + Fights are cool. MC is also cool, but author overdoes it, plus later MC starts to get reckless, like your typical xanxia MC reckless (you know what I mean) 3.9/5 stars in my personal rating. Might increase/decrease later, because novel is still ongoing.

it's starts like your average (or even a bit above that) System novel and slowly downgrades. - multifunctional OP System. Supposedly has limitations, but it's just author's trick to keep MC in acceptable power range - several nasty plot holes, which could easily lead to dropping this novel (honestly you won't miss much) - really slow (middle Golden Core @ 1k chapters) because author found easy way to increase word/chapter count (and this is biggest drawback of this novel) - MC changes his spell/skill set every ~1/4 of the realm (early/middle/late/complete [major realm]), so how to find/buy/select/etc. them takes really a lot of time/space. Like for example it took 2 chapters for MC to haggle for 2 T1 (Qi condensation) spells. Ugh. + there are several unexpected plot twists, but it's very weak plus. 2.2/5 in my personal rating

A bit below average. - Messy world building (admitted by author himself) - Rushed ending. Well, it's not exactly rushed, but after certain secondary plot ending most of MC struggles disappeared and main plot entered final phase, which was a bit unexpected. -/+ MC quite unscrupulous and selfish guy, but with clear bottom line. Still, I'm pretty sure next novel (if author writes it) will be worth reading as this one was really decent (for a rookie). 2.4/5 in my personal rating

Between trash and average. I mean author put quite a lot of effort into plot/twists(s) and did decent homework. MC plans ahead, talks eloquently and there are no arrogant young masters in first 200 chapters or so. Then you notice it's just a scam (or rather author's lack of talent) and author tries to replace quality with quantity with throwing in "secrets", super items, skills, physiques, hidden plots and etc. This can't mask that: - MC doesn't look like a 100 year old guy who regressed (travelled back in time). Too emotional and simp. - worldbuilding is trash (at least in first 450 chapters or so) - Cringe "romance" (and Asian web novels - name a better duo) 2/5 in my personal rating

Trash. I haven't read much, but MC has a System with proficiency (his "stats" go up when he trains and he can raise them with points after "level-up"- just like in some RPGs), so basic strategy is just train as much as you can and manually raise stat(s) with points which can't be raised easily/too high to raise by training and he fails at that. Because he is "scared", but this "scare" goes away in a couple of chapters and he volunteers himself to have a go again. Yeah, right. Also government guys gladly accept some civil untrained guy, whose only benefit is that he returned alive. Yeah, right. This level of "logic" is even below anime and it tells something.

Below average. Author had grand ambitions, but couldn't pull them off: - MC supposedly cultivates "martial arts" and in pair with initial worldbuilding it made sense, but later author moved on and suddenly MC started to look like a stubborn fool. - failed to construct initial world (sorry for spoilers) as well - your usual "guys f**ked around for 10k years, but started to move in a speed of light when MC appeared". + System isn't super OP (let's MC comprehend/deduct stuff) and didn't upgrade later -/+ later writing got better, but it seems like author is out of ideas as some stuff started to repeat (like for example some guys getting in conflict with MC for the same reason over and over again, cultivation techniques with the same effect (just realm higher) and etc.) 2.3/5 in my personal rating

Technically it's the best novel I've read on this site (so far) and it's probably the best novel not in (proper) translation (as far as I know) yet. Author (in his notes) admitted that he has been published (as in paper book) before, i.e. professional writer and it shows - impeccable characters, plot(s), dialogues - really super high level and honestly very few Chinese web novel authors can match this level (not Er Gen or IET for sure, although they are good in their own way). My only complain on writing - too many some random characters introduced/described/shown in daily life just to introduce some recurring side character or show some plot event. What does it mean? Well, you get paragraphs (in the beginning), chapters and then dozens of chapters about some random guys, their stories and what they are doing...in the middle of some big fight MC is on. Sure, in the end it always comes together perfectly and beautifully (in author's mind, I suppose) and makes perfect sense, but, damn, it's super annoying and boring for an average reader like I. I know it's super advanced writing technique, but it could be way shorter as it makes this novel bloated. And yes, I admit, I skipped a lot of chapters because of that. But it's also because of my only complain regarding novel itself - it's historical wuxia drama disguised as cultivation novel. Yes, author created cultivation realms, added some talents/details, but it's just a disguise. Not sure about others, but I started to get "something wrong" feeling somewhere in the middle of the novel. Weird wars, weird MC powers (but they would be super OP in a wuxia (martial arts), yes), weird monarchy worship, weird plot twists and more. Don't get me wrong - these things look perfectly fine in historical wuxia novel, but fall flat when you try it with guys, who supposedly can live for thousand of years, fly, reverse time and teleport (amongst other things). *Oh look - out of characters again* 5/5 in my personal rating

Your average rise of the cultivation family novel. Average worldbuilding, average plot, average MC. Seriously, I've read worse ("Lingxiao family" or something like that), I've read better ("Nine evolutions of true spirit", I think) ones. 2.3/5 in my personal rating

Below average, bordering trash, which is a shame as author has a lot of ideas and is sometimes funny. There 2 main problems: - terrible worldbuilding, which also includes cultivation - it's not the 1st author who slaps "martial arts" tag on opponents' system, while MC is supposedly cultivating "orthodox" immortality, but you really can't tell the difference :) And in most cases it's even the opposite - MC uses like 1-2 martial skills, while opponents use super advanced taoist magic (formations/alchemy/puppets/etc.) - System. It's the 2nd book (chronologically this is the 1st, but I read the ongoing one the first - "borrowed brain of ..") of the same author, where author himself is not very clear how it supposed to work. I can kind of understand why author couldn't get it right in 1st book, but this problem persists in 2nd book as well. Well, the good thing is that author gets better in his 2nd book (the one with brains) and the bad thing is that both books are similar and have similar problems :/ 2.2/5 in my personal rating

Below average. Yet another farming novel with a System, just farming is replaced with beast taming here. - (upgradable) System with multi features :/ + Above average plot/twists; - But again, if you choose farming, sorry, beast taming as main MC job and plotline and then your MC runs around fighting opponents bigger than himself, it's self-defeating and very clickbaity :/ - There are numerous problems with cultivation/realms/power levels: for example characters/beasts/skills of low lvl do OP stuff, while high lvl guys/spells do almost nothing/get countered with a fart 2.2/5 in my personal rating
