Not sure why u need to simulate if the story is gonna all about cyberpunk. It just makes death a small thing.

The novel is okay. The translation is really shit. Have read an earlier novel similar to this one. Same premise being in aoba. Im quite tired seeing a sports fanfic novel and not being with the main lead of the novel. Its hard to root for.

Ur usual lowkey composer that also do little bit of everything. Nothing new under the sun. No new ideas. Its pretty dry copy and paste from similar novels out there

If they didnt always remind me he is chinese or easterner, i would have enjoyed the novel. Its annoying

Was okay till the end of what the manga/anime covered. After that, its all the authors original creation which turned chinese and just not worth reading anymore.

Im not sure how familiar the author is with the franchise. There are quite some bugs in the story particularly in battle, using poison powder on a weepinbell, a posion pokemon? Poison type pokemon cant be poisoned. There is also the fact that he was able to use the newly captured pokemon in battle which i surmised should have been fainted during the battle. Edit: reading further, author just knowingly do bs with using thunderbolt on a ground type etc Edit: really frustrating how weak the mc is. Story is good to hook u up but its frustrating seeing a mc just getting beat up like stupid and not even be able to avenge.
