Mature protagonist with logical action? This kind of novel are rarer than diamond these days 10/10

If you're sucker for detail like me, this story is simply trash But if you love 'fourth calamity' genre and like to see what shenanigans the players can do, then this is definitely decent My rant: World Building is mediocre People dont even question why the number of 'player' never decreases even tho they died over over and over again The ressurrection system is bad, basically you pay 600+ yuan EVERYTIME you die to resurrect, which is insane, on top of later introduced ressurection time cooldown MC pretty much just there for the sake of it, he can leech players progression but somehow always above them in terms of progress Lots of plot convinience, people introduced to do abc then they died the next chapter, 0 planning for the future at all No downtime at all, there's always fighting plot again and again and again, auhtor literally show nothing to the fact they build a town and somehow just put it in the background Then like newbies just got into the game for like 6 hours, but they put pov in one of the newbies and act like 'i have felt the difference in real life after i played this game', like dude you just entered the game for less than 6 hours.. Another one, this world where strong prey the weak author paint the city to be place where 'its safe' 'no fight allowed', and the city police aka guardian regiment to be the peace keeper. But then x chapter later several police captains literally went outside the town to massacre the players 'just because' the want to get stronger via life or dead moment, guess who's winning? People at certain level able to be a city councilor, but then they downplayed it like ohh its only 'first-order' not 'middle order', so they're all trash so die, and set the target power progression to other city, like wtf?? Player is too capable this one is horrendous, basically the people chosen in 'closed beta' somehow 'pro' gamers and they can recreate skills from other game, like bruh tldr: my standards quite high, so yours should be too This novel is decent for fun read, no more no less
