Its the type of story writing that makes you think the author believes the reader is stupid.

Ive read similar novels here and the other ones were better. The setting is basically the same as the others but on this one the female leads are WAY more annoying and obnoxious, pestering and don't let the story progress. Why bother with that? The most annoying so far is the junior sister that likes acting spoiled and the MC can't grow a pair so every time she tries to cry he stops and apologizes, wtf man. So unbearable to read those scenes, so I'm dropping it. There's more options out there for basically the same story but with different characters name AND without the annoying characters.

Great Emperor? It truly feels more like a body cultivator vs some qi refining enemies. The fighting scenes are trash too, and the MC might be at walking distance from saving someone but he will for no reason only take action after the ones he is helping are half-dying. I can reasonably guess it will only be worse and not better than I expect so its not worth reading imo.

Its not good. At least its not the worst Ive ever read.
