4 stars because damn these parents are dumb / clueless / dont even understand their daughter > Knows their daughter have great trauma and depend on MC > Decide to separate and destroy every trace of him in her life > She freaks out big time and shuts them out > Parents regret > Years later MC and girl get together. > Parents do the same bullshit again

It was great while it lasted. Too bad it was dropped halfway

Author plays around with various interesting concepts but never truly expands on some. E.g. MC makes a magic gun. It never gets used or mentioned again. Some relationships never get resolved (Ms Grey, Pettigrew, Sirus and his tendencies) Epilogue does not expand on any of the characters much and ends up rather prefunctionary. Also does not include the endings of multiple characters. Lots of exposition dumping and is a nightmare if you have no idea whats happening. Sometimes the plot can shift in the middle of a scene.
