The Best Gods Novel Period. Power System is well fleshed out both the divine and mortal Unlike other novels there's no school/tournament/national arc its just straight development The chapters can be a bit information heavy but its not too bad in my opinion MC actually has a good family for once The Difference in perception of time between mortals and gods is well done not like others where people become super ultimate true god in like 20 years , to put it into perspective at the beginning of the story the MC is 867 years old already and not even a demigod imo this puts a lot more depth into how grand the scale of the power system is , instead of in other books people becoming gods in what feels like a mortal timescale in comparison Side Characters are of decent importance aswell and there's no endless faceslapping plot here people have a decent chunk of IQ for once they know MC is powerful and no random people jump to purposefully provoke the MC even though most of them may not necessarily know his background No Clues about Romance yet so i can't say if its harem or not but this isn't like other ones where MC just sleeps with his own dependents there are actually males in his believers and many of them are his greatest fighters/actually important characters in terms of his forces. MC is overpowered in both in believers and also individual power later on but its pretty well balanced still If Author can keep this quality up this can be one of the best gods novel. TLDR : Read with confidence no poison about nationalism or endless faceslapping here.
