Eh, okay xianxia.
Unfortunately Halfway through at chapter 486, the author seems to have just given up writing and started ai generating shit to post. Dropped, I don't wanna read something that no one even bothered to write
I'll agree with what the last guy said, This is a pretty decent novel. Powerfull system, Overarching plot is clearly planned for, The Author is not terrible at writing, The pacing is fast but not so fast that the story is in shambles, Hints of romance that I quite enjoy etc.
It's overall very decent, Nothing to write home about but nothing bad either. Enjoyable piece of work 👌.
Mmmmmmmhhhhh.....meh. it's fun, Wouldn't call it that great. It's got the cheats, The occasional face slapping, The middle of the road romance, Ultra Strong Mc, overall it's just another CN Powerfantasy, there hasn't been much that is remarkable.
Binge and forget.
It's fun, sober yet deep and dark, With mysteries somewhere beneath that will probably get picked out later on in the story.
Basing it on the SCP universe lends alot to the story and the author uses what he has very well.
The organisation is what I'd expect from such an institute. It doesn't take them very long to learn of mc's existence almost immediately and even set up tests for him. They're competent, well managed and ruthless- You can expect them to do well in this world of anomalies and weird shit all around.
What is here is great, but I still see great potential from this story and specially this author. He has shown that he has the chops to tackle such a story from the short amount of chapters out right now.
It was okay, there were interesting elements like powerfull beings being behind lineages of power, Though I stopped reading when the author went off on a tangent ( Like literally, He used brackets and started talking in the middle of the chapter right after a female character was introduced) about how he would never add a female lead.
I am not one to care much about romance but man did that put me off. Atleast some companionship is nice to see in stories, especially in the late stage but even if not, I don't explicitly need to know that you will never add female romantic interests to the story, Leaving a possibility is always good.
The author either is gay, hates women, or just has never talked to or seen a woman in real life before, I am more inclined towards the last one after seeing the authors note.
I am the one who requested this so yeah, I quite like it.
It's fun to see the development of the territory, to see the lives of the people within become far better relative to the rest of the world. The mc also isn't an unhinged lunatic.
One thing to note is that if you're not directly binging from start, it IS a little hard to follow the writing after coming back to the story
I haven't read far enough to get to the puppet revelation part but I do think that the mc lacks self will.
Though even without that the story is pretty good. His talent is very fun to read about( well, I wouldn't exactly use that word to describe it), And he isn't that awful of a main character either. Pretty okay series, though like all Chinese Webnovel, there exists parts where it's a bit hard to get through
As the other reviewer said, this isn't a simulator, it's a past life system and the mc is essentially being played around. Though I do like the experiences he has through his system.
They're just the perfect length and genuinely quite enjoyable, Though I do think that more "screen time" should be given to the real world. He's jumping between worlds a bit too quick, without the author giving us more of the real world as a palate cleanser.
Not really a novel you can binge inn one sitting but definitely one to come back to.
