Let's start with what kind of story it is. Starts with an apocalyptic system (which I love) and wasn't a bad start. Then immediately becomes faction politics and getting women. The women besides a key few are just there as numbers. Even the key few are unimportant, maybe used for 1 or 2 running gags. The story at its base isn't bad, but to sum it up. The foundation is shallow. System is weak, world is weak, everyone and everything is weak with no progression. MC gets like...11 "kind of" important things from the system in the entire story. 6 of these are gear... but that's it. Horrible system, it gets explained later but it's very unnecessary. They act like everyone(the world survivors&competition) was going to power up after a certain arc and MC would need to keep up. Never happened. MC started strongish, then jumped to strongest and stayed there, kept saying he needs to get stronger then just exists and becomes the strongest. System really not used. TL:DR Women besides like 1 unnecessary. MC has no progression just steps strong, strongest, stronkest. System useless. Foundation shallow. I enjoyed the read. Ending is rushed but finished.

The story starts off as a basic system zombie novel with Buddhist elements. They never develop that and instead go a different route. The ending is anti climactic but it is an ending, open "my journey will continue" rushed kind of ending but it does end. It's a harem with classic harem issues of girls becoming not important, actually I don't think they were ever important. NOTE. I rated it pretty high because I really enjoy the premise and setting but fair warning. This has to be one of the more racist MCs I've read about. Like full on genocide of other races. It's really weird, like he generally has a ruthless but nice personality but engrained into his bones is his hatred for other races, japanese(most hated), koreans(low racism but there), americans(almost japan level) and others. Very jarring as while the MC doesn't say slurs, of course the author has the other races court death and slur at the chinese. He finds joy in killing the other races and having them submit. TL:DR Zero struggle, apocalypse setting, basic harem, so racist it acts like it's normal. I did enjoy it, but looking back it's very basic and has little development as a story.
