After a second transmigration, the protagonist discovers they carry their previous system. The Plundering System requires "Merit Points" to operate (limiting unrestricted plundering).
-Espers must undergo a modern tribulation to break through (lightning tribulation transforms into missile form).
It's good enough to enjoy.
The story is progressing a bit slow.
I don't like how rare he use his cheats. In 100 chapters he only used it 3 times. Even then he still needs to do mission to get the change to modify the blind box. It feels like the title is a scam. I was expecting for the MC to open many blind box even if it's not high tier. It feels like the cheat is wasted in the usage and limitation by the author.
Starts kinda trash, but the apocalypse is interesting.
The plot is weird almost like a japanese manga or novel story because The apocalypse looks more fucked than from other stories because you get ability of the last thing you consumed, then you can't eat normal animals anymore because human have become the new "animal" getting hunted by "new human". Every certain interval there would be a modifier rule like in those japanese death game that made it harder to survive, during this it would spawn a wave of "New human" they are like the titans from attack on titan but with varying looks and power.
Update: I don't understand the forced marriage plot, it just doesn't make sense. It was the apocalypse, the girl is not virgin anymore why is a giant family still want their young master to force the girl still? She got nothing special. When the MC tries to get her back nobody even tries to make her a hostage? Idk. At some point it lost the apocalypse aspect because too much fighting with human. I just hope it would become more horror with the "new human" later on.
The story is just like what the title describe. It's your typical power awakening novel with with face-slapping.
What I hate is how he gloats and insult those who thinks he is trash all the time when he could easly prove them wrong.
The whole thing wouldn't escalate so much if he just explain or even directly show his skill.
The SECOND DAY of his awakening with just 4% soul fusion he has more physical strength than a 9 Star Master with 100% fusion. He have enough strength to just reveal his power without to much things that could threaten him.
After 40+ chapter I actually enjoy it. Alright to be honest I like the interaction between the MC and the rich girl. +1 star for that.
Also surprisingly there is not much face-slapping... Maybe it's because he hasn't gone to the university even after 170+ chapter, it's only ben more than half a month after awakening, kinda terrible pace.
I'm not the type to like the inner voice getting revealed type story but I kinda enjoy this one so I'll probably read it from tome to time.
The story is okay, the villain doesn't really feel like a villain he is just a simping dumb rich kid, kinda likeable.
For now I'll rate it 4 star. But maybe I'll edit it after 120 chapter as the other review says the story changed later on.
It's good enough if you like the usual cultivation story. In this one the MC is a very typical good natured protagonist, it's not bad. His cheats is a bit broken, even if it has cooldown and it takes time to activate but he could use his cheats on other too like giving and deleting their entries.
The whole poaching diciple stuff is annoying to read, it overstays it's welcome for more than 40 chapters. And the Sect Master is the worst of them all I didn't like her character at all.
Also that fake protagonist Chen Zimo is annoying and disgusting to read. (At chapter 102 when I thought he would die the Author decided to make his body be snatched by a demon... Edit: He died at chapter 123).
It's not great but sometimes being generic is enough.
So far it's been fun.The interaction between characters are great. There is not to much face-slapping. I like it overall.
I don't understand what the review below me are complaining about as I don't think the MC is arrogant? He is more playfull than anything.
Only thing I dislike is how rare the system appear later on, so far in 120+ chapters it only appear 10-15 times. I guess it's kinda reasonable considering how op the rewards are.
Update: after 200+ chapter it got very watery, the fights that usualy quick to finish could get dragged for more than 2. Some random plot here and there like a side quest, completly unecessary as it leads to nothing.
Starts to get boring after he starts killing the other race.
It's good enough to enjoy while turning your brain off.
There are lots of problems with this novel, but I do enjoy it a bit.
The author is kinda annoying with how many times he broke the 4th wall to say how handsome us the reader are. And the whole gulping over and over again is super annoying.
After the first 5 chapters about MC forcing himself to marry the heroine like a villain, this story is pretty good. Author probably just used the usual villain taking the heroine trope to skip the introduction and get straigt to the main story, because after those 5 chapter his writing is quite good. Mc and the Heroine relationship is also decent.
There's not much I want to complain about. There are only 2 things I don't like about this story:
1. Face-slaping scenes take up a lot of chapters.
2. MC is the Low-key type, he hides his powers which causes a lot of unnecessary conflicts. Which will leads to the Face-slaping in problem no.1
It's not great but I enjoy it enough.
