I started this one because I've read similar novels about starting a cultivation family before, but this one was just boring. Not to mention how confusing it was to read about the realms (because this is mtl so that's to be expected), but the writing itself is just bland. Mc's actions would just be explained in simple sentences, but then you'll have more than 3-5 chapters just to see the pov of some random side character that's not even worth remembering in the story. The story became nonsensical after his kids became 2 years old. You probably won't even have any braincells left after the rubbish that went on in the arc following that.

Everyone in this novel is braindead. They provoke others for no reason, mc makes enemies where he goes for no reasons, at some point I became numb. This novel tries to hard to make you develop a sense of hatred for these "antagonists" and mc tries to hard to turn the whole world against him. It's too exhausting to care about what's happening all the time.

Made it to chapter 605... But now I find it very uncomfortable to read. MC is currently dissing a couple of side characters by calling them the N word. It's as if you're automatically ugly as long as you have darker skin and if you're fat. I don't know if this will continue, but I no longer have any reason to endure it. For this reason alone, my impression of this novel has dropped to the lowest. (So yes, my review is not very good so judge the novel for yourself 👌🏾)
