The beginning chapters are great. The power setting, realm and character setting are not bad. But too much racism in the latter chapters and even Chinese people will be annoyed to read this kind of novel. I know the writer love his own country and hate others but doing this kind of writing make me look down on China believing that Chinese people are ignorant and blindly trust the words of the political leaders. I admired the China for becoming powerful very quickly but after reading many kinds of Chinese racism novels, my admirations are gone. You can express your love for country in other way and don't make things very obvious. Adding one sentences or two is fine but yours is too much. I don't want to write comments for other novel because these are their efforts, but I am very angry that too many good novels are ruined by racism. I can't imagine why Chinese writer add racism in their novels. Is there any law in China that you must add racism in their writing? Even if you add racism, you will not make others admire China, but you will lose readers.
