Evil protagonist my foot. He’s a ruthless anti-hero at best. A stupid hypocrite at worst. He has such a heaven-defying cultivation method and he’s not making the most of it. This dude is actually concerned about innocent civilians and doesn’t even harm the innocent. Nonsense. Not even remotely close to a villain.
So far, a very beautiful novel. Honestly, the depiction of the cultivation word in this novel is what I would actually expect from a cultivation world—cruelty, indifference and slavery. Not the happy-go-lucky cultivation novels where the protagonist plucks women like leaves on a tree.
Honestly, this world is just as hopeless as Reverend Insanity—in fact, it is more hopeless than RI in some ways.
Lovely novel.
That @PeerlessSystemUser is so hung up on romance and companionship for a dark novel. Implying that the author has no relation to women because of it is just plain dumb.
Why must there be companionship? If you want romance, then focus on the real word and get yourself a woman instead of whining about a fictional scenario. Or you can also read the countless harem chasing and women simping novels on here and all over several novel platforms.
Edit: Yeah this novel has a sharp decline in quality. The moment that Yang Network—basically internet in a cultivation word—was introduced, it turned into a messy chat-group stuff. Stupid dialogues from inconsequential characters as if they’re ten year old kids arguing on social media taking almost a whole chapter. It’s so draining
Too many chapters with face-slapping scenes and street tennis. Also, the end is somewhat average. The system basically becomes non-existent. Honestly this novel is quite underwhelming. Only decent for time pass.
