Read 1113Ch. #954
I just finished reading this entire novel (1107 Ch). It's a 5/10. I don't know what happened to the author; I was truly perplexed to think this was the same author as Warlock of the Magus World. The protagonist is simply too lecherous, and there are all those unbearable and boring cultivation tropes. Plus, every woman who appears always gets a silly compliment like: "jade skin," "unparalleled beauty," "beautiful face," "sinful body," etc. This became very difficult to endure throughout the novel, and I almost dropped it countless times. Moreover, the author pulls justifications out of their *** for the protagonist to save someone (e.g., In the last chapters, the protagonist saves a woman who literally wanted to kill him before and hated him. The author justified it by saying the protagonist needed to save her to resolve "karma." Screw you, author! The MC should always be cruel to all his enemies who want to kill him... but just because she's a "Cute Beauty," he saves her. Very disappointing. ). This and countless other examples that occurred throughout the novel made its personal rating for me plummet. The novel was very promising at the beginning, but as time went on, the author seemed to no longer know how to develop it. And finally, the ending was very rushed. The author left many things unexplained, and the last chapter was practically a joke of a fight involving his disciple, and it didn't even show the MC surpassing his realm. A complete piece of trash. I feel like I wasted a lot of time reading this garbage for such a crappy ending. The only thing that saves it was the mention of Leylin at the end; otherwise, it's not even worth reading.

I really tried to read this, but the protagonist's personality is very weak. After reading hundreds of novels with more 'realistic' protagonists who are profit-seeking, pragmatic, cold-hearted and don't mind betraying or taking the lives of others if it harms their interests, this type of protagonist can actually survive in the world of cultivation and make the most of the golden finger. But, this protagonist of this novel is a complete 'fool', to say the least. Or is it the author who doesn't have much creativity and puts together predictable and boring plots? I can only say that if you like protagonists who have the characteristics I mentioned above, you won't have much patience to read this novel and it will be a complete waste of time. The only interesting thing is that it progresses quickly; otherwise, everything is very simplistic and annoying.

I finished reading it. In short: Very good, however the ending is very rushed. Furthermore, the plot throughout the story is very confusing, at various times the author seems to not know what he is writing. (In his note, at the end of the novel, he himself admitted that he was writing too fast and the plot became very confusing, etc.) In short, a good book to read.

I completely agree with @GodOfLaziness . The fact that he kept hiding made me lose all desire to read.

One of the best novels I've read, definitely worth every moment spent reading it.

It's really good at first, but after chapter 100 it becomes complete crap. It seems like the author didn't know how to continue the plot, it went from 4 stars to 2 stars at most. In short, read until chapter 100 and be happy, after that the plot becomes horrible, boring and predictable. Boring.
