Is it funny or cute for a girl to just be slapping and kicking people? Mc takes a test and we go to scene of elders visiting another female elder only for her to slap them down. Keep in mind, they in no way disrespected her. After the test, mc becomes her junior brother, with no proper communication, she kicks him in the thigh, down to where he wanted to go… was that supposed to be funny? Cute? Mc doesn’t feel any type of way about literally just meeting someone and getting kicked for no reason.especially when she could just ignore him, and he can go where he wanted to go on his own. It’s fine if the author creates this horrible female character, what I truly don’t like is the mc reaction to the situation.

Would’ve enjoyed it but I can’t get into from the jump. It’s just really bad logic, the mc is the decedent of a honored elder in the sect. The sect cares enough to make the mc(very bad talent) an elder. Yet the mc SALARY, is being embezzled without any repercussions by a DISCIPLE of the sect. I can understand the mc being looked down on because of his talent(lack of), but I can never get behind the implications of no real structure and rules of a sect. It really just took my out of the immersion and it’s the only thing I have on my mind when reading.

It’s exactly as the synopsis says it is. Most of the low raters are people who read the summary and expected/wanted something different. You get exactly what it says it is

It would 5 stars but I don’t like these schemes after schemes after schemes after schemes. I like to actually experience joy when I read, not immerse myself in darkness and gloom.

It’s funny at times, i didn’t like how the author build up a sister-brother relationship only to somewhat force mc and houtu to marry. Basically this author sucks at writing romance and should have just not done so

It’s a mixture of too many verses, ideas, and genres Very hard to understand and follow along, especially without the proper translation. I did sort of enjoy my time, but I am dropping it early because I don’t know what’s going on anymore and I don’t care to re-read and find out. It really looks like the author should’ve written 3 separate novels, instead putting it all at once together.
