It's a hit or miss with the humor.

It’s a solid novel. Some readers might complain that the main character isn’t low-key, but he doesn’t overdo it—he’s not as flamboyant as he could be, yet not so reserved that he becomes annoying and loses excitement. If revealing certain abilities yields benefits, why shy away from it? Isn’t that just brain-dead? My biggest complaint is how many chapters there are. Over time, it becomes a bit boring to read because the novel doesn’t change its rhythm; it’s the same plot from start to finish

It's hard to enjoy this one, it's repetitive; constantly adding female leads, without adding any depth to the characters.
