Reviews

This is not my true rating/review so ignore that bit. Just keeping a balance due to extreme hate comments against harems below. Everyone has their tastes. So rate the novel based on actual the story and content please.. Once I read it I will also put down a proper review/rating later.
I've read this a while ago, up to 82 (where the free chapters ended on original site.) So far its good enough to read. Surprisingly this wizard isn't starting in a black wizard tower side like most of these cliché novels or a trainee knight lol. He's basically a former player who ended up in the real world version of his game and the cheat was the game board. Its pretty OP in helping him make spells, but he still does what he should as a wizard and conducts many tests and trials. I'm personally not a fan of the fact he follows a single path as a wizard. I always seem to feel that mages should be all rounded instead of fixed in a single direction. But that's just my opinion so please feel free to ignore it. The general idea of this novel is for him to utilize his knowledge of the worlds future to survive and benefit. So its as you'd expect, a power trip novel. No romance so far, just some connections with people. His character is hard to write down, but basically he's goal oriented and focused on benefits, even if he takes some losses. He doesn't let his enemies live thus far (ch 82 only so take it with a grain of salt) and he's not too attached to his starting point like most nationalist CN novels. The author does make the story up as he goes, and it is a bit obvious so you'll see more get added at random times as ideas are newly made and introduced lol. Its not a perfect novel, lots of lore and background of MC missing. But again its an okay read for a magic type novel. At least not a cookie cutter like most Chinese LN out there. 3.8/5.
Although the idea was good at first, it becomes a basic cultivation type novel as time goes on. This doesn't even fit properly due to authors forced introduction and the story premise being spaceships and technology making it an awkward fit. The other issue is the nationalistic nature of it. To be specific the Chinese guys are all about ''not of my race, not of my heart'' and go for the kill directly. This brainwashing is really bleeding into this novel making it the reason for killing. Even in chapter 178 where there are humans not from their world, this MC still considers them 'Alien' as part of the textbook education of his people. Its really too hypocritical and disgusting. Wasn't MC also a transmigrator? But author still goes in this direction.. So stupid to think in such a way.. 2.6/5.

This was enjoyable for the most part. Ending was rushed and not very well reasoned out, in terms of world lore and logic. Here is some pros and cons which may be spoiler ish. Pros: -MC grows powerful with cheat system -MC has just one die hard love interest (No Harem) -Scheming and Smart -Combines magic and science in an interesting way Cons: -Cheat system is badly explained at the end -Enemies are forgiven at the ending regardless of sheer evil deeds done -MC goes deep in music (some readers might not enjoy so I added it) -MC plagiarized a LOT of stuff as his own lol Rating it as 4.6/5
Nationalistic..
After reading around 100+ chapters I can only say good things about it mainly. Can't honestly understand the one star ratings below. I will give a proper review as usual so people can understand from my perspective. The initial story is the usual body possession from a transmigrator and taking over that persons life. This MC is an average mage who got tricked into exile to be a 'lord' by someone malicious towards him for minor reasons. MC decides to make do and farm using his magical knowledge and cheat which allows him to evolve plants/animals by inserting magic spell runes into them. It allows him to make things that can produce all sorts of useful results that can help him make money. This isn't just a farming novel, its also a pet raising novel btw. He keeps his head and always acts mature, never allows anyone to take advantage of him, maximizes benefits, behaves cautiously and fully utilizes his noble mage status without being some pushover. The farming is mainly done in a smart way so its taken care of by others without wasting his own time. He spends his own time developing new resources, meditating, keeping his strength up and territory maintained and enjoying good food and comfort. So don't worry about this guy being focused on one thing and letting his guard down in another. If there are any negatives then I will say that some people might find the pioneering lord aspect can make it a bit slow. After all, development is the key, and his somewhat exile status is in the form of being a 'lord' on an island. Kingdom building plus farming novels are like that anyways so not much of a 'negative' imo. Aside from that, the luck and fate nonsense that affects Chinese novels also invades this one over time lol. It can be a negative since effort or wisdom of a mage is just a support, but luck is the real factor which sucks to read tbh lol. It can also be a bit repetitive or redundant in the need for planting, farming or taming pets. So I rate it 4.4/5. Its a smart enough MC with good growth.
Ive read quiet a lot of chapters. Over a hundred. And this is a super slow novel with a pretty low story progression. The level of luck and coincidence that happens around him is over saturating. It essentially turns into a wish fulfillment type story where he gets whatever he wants easily. The logic of this author making his character have such a subjugated social worker type personality despite his strength is a bit too ridiculous. Just doesn't make sense to hold yourself back due to the fixed mentality. You might be able to ignore it if you can get over this. Aside from this, the author also does have some negative thoughts on the USA and its values of freedom which further add to this. The part where I dropped this novel for its nonsense was when it was going through the 'Annabelle' movie, yes the one with the doll. The critical views on America while depicting the movie was a bit too ridiculous. With his mentality always turning towards a more negative viewpoint for all this. So I just dropped it lol. I'm not American or anything, but just found it to be more of the usual Chinese rhetoric of hating none-Chinese people for all sorts of reasons. So I had no choice but to drop this critically hate undertoned novel. 2.5/5.
Its okay. I also agree its a 3.5. Its basically a wish fulfillment type novel. If MC needs something, the system can provide it directly with points. Aside from directly providing resources, the intelligence can give all sorts of useful info for MC to grasp again with points to refresh. The combination of these and more give it a pure wish fulfilling type story. Its nothing special or deep because of this. The MC is actually trash without a doubt if the system didn't constantly feed and coddle him lol. Being a transmigrator is not mentioned, but its in the tags?? Oh and I noticed the author forgets things sometimes. Like the fact the invisible cloak was his first exchange, but only seems to mention Wind Blade Technique, Fire Cloud Chicken and Hundred Ghost Banner. Not sure if more issues will happen due to forgetfulness.
