One of the best fanfictions in that universe. Chapter 190 is awesome. I highly recommend it

One of the best fanfiction in the DD universe, the author really gave it his best. I don't think i'll read it again but these 200+ chapters were good and to the point. He tried to make things logical, with good use of time skips the romance is there it's an OTP so i gave it bonus points. The MC himself is hard working and he has a set goal. He puts thoughts into his actions without pretending to be a mastermind behind the scenes too much. It's definitly worth reading !

Incredibly slow start 34 chapters and I've been forcing myself to read them. Might get better later for now 2stars.

Easily one of the best spirit hall side novels out there. The author does milk the yu xiaogang and tang san bullying a bit much but overall it's pretty decent. The chapters are long so don't let the small number fool you. These 240 chapters are worth 500 in another novel. It's worth a read and maybe for once in douluo fanfic case a second read through.

It could've been great if the side effect of his spirit was just that. But the author made it the whole thing. I quit around 170, the split between harem bs and story progression should be 120 to 50. maybe it gets better later but i'm done trying to find it.

*novel is completed not ongoing* The premise was good because i really enjoy what if stories with side characters that deserve a different take. This MC in this one is one of them and the author tried hard to take it to the finish line. The attempt was fair and kept me entertained for 70% of the book. The good is easy to sum up. It's a easy to read, good mtl novel with decent lore and a different take from what you might find out there. The bad well you can tell the author tried to tick boxes in the last 30% of the book. You might feel it too if you get there. Honest unbiased review is 3/5. biased review because the author shares some political views about the original material with me is 4/5.

One of the best out there. The author really gave their all when it came to pushing their idea forward. The issue is that it is dropped not completed. If you like fanfictions that try to create their own take of the source material read it. Was going to be a 4 out of 5 but the dropped status make me rate it 2.

had a good premise, but the author just threw everything asside including logic to recreate canon event around the og cast. just don't go past the sea god island arc if you do read it.

This is my review after finishing the book. It's a better than expected. The author tried hard to steer clear of the OG MC and he succeeded for most of the book. However he still had to do a few things to bring his story to an end. The novel itself is a fair attempt. My honest opinion is that it deserves to be read. The progression is fine and makes sense. The romance is "omitted" but is also making sense. The MC is not perfect but tries to get better every step of the way. Special mention to Yang Wudi. This character steals the show in my opinion. 3/5 final review. early review down below. I will update this review multiple times depending on where I am. For now I'm loving it. It still the early chapters but the author is trying his best to give us a parallel story to the canon with just enough logical interactions with the original MC. It's a pleasant read I'm at chapter 28. For now it's 4/5
