The author is doing incredibly well for now. The way he characterised players that can be easily vilified because of their on the field antics is awesome. The system is strong but not OP yet. It's manageable. The tactics the football are not too in depth, i think the author just wanted to let everyone enjoy the book. Anyways pleasant surprise i'll keep at it. Also the chinese FA ban is logical for people that know how cameroon did Mbappe when he was just a weak unknown youngster.
this author football knowledge is bad. I hope it gets better but saying that left footed left backs are not prefered in modern football is wrong. Especially at the time period he's starting this. Imma give this a go for the novel part but for the football this is already a failure.
Allright i read until 243 to be honest it's not a bad novel at all. It's just a bit slow paced but it remains as down to earth as it can be on the football side of things. Of course it's wish fulfilment however the author tried to keep that part under control. Making it too realistic would bore people to death. The harem part is what made me quit because this is a novel set up in real life so the author can't just slap "it's a top top man so he gets to have 3 wives 4 concubines".
For a football novel it's ok the harem makes me take a point away because i couldn't deal with the things that came with it. 2/5 is fair. Would be 3 maybe if it was OTP (one true pair) and the football part was slightly different (going through seasons faster and the system being slightly nerfed it's my personal bias).
pretty decent, the lower realm was entertaining, but the last few chapters i read drag on a little bit. Maybe it's because i'm binge reading them. Overall it's a good novel. You don't need to think too much but the plot in itself is ok.
A few things bother me in this book :
1 Says he won't whitewash the secret
room rapist. Proceeds to do so. Author partakes a lot in victim blaming over the chapters.
2 author spends multiple chapters in a row at times to talk about the following douluo books. The diary trope is to let the author talk about his views of the characters but there needs to be a balance and author failed at that.
These 2 things are the extra issues I found on top of the problems that come from harem and the system. It could've been good. At least at the beginning it was. It started going down hill from the first appearance of tang san. Even then I wanted to straight up quit I just skipped the chapter.
I came into the book thinking it would be a good crashout novel. Unhappy MC Ruthless and decissive, however the villain trope took over a third of the book so it lost rating over that. Another thing is that he uses a lot of coercion to create his "harem" so it lost points for that. It is sad though because the romance is logical and kind of sweet.
I'll rate it 2 stars but it could've been 4 stars if the author hadn't taken the leek cutting and NTR trope from almost every single other villain novels.
It's a rather good fanfic, the story is straight and to the point but there should be around 33% of system and upgrades related stuff.
The mc is rather witty and not lustful. The fl reactions are making sense considering her background.
It's a novel that's easy to read but can get boring in the middle parts.
Book is above average, the writing is nothing to write home about but the author had a goal and got to it without stalling much. It was a pleasant read. The mc is ok, side characters are as fleshed out as the author could make them even compared to the original.
