I study the exoteric teachings and practice the esoteric teachings; though our expedient methods differ, we ultimately return to the same origin. Since traversing the path to Nirvana, I have come to understand that birth and death are inherently empty.

Whether walking or sitting, all is emptiness; whether speaking or remaining silent, moving or still, all is emptiness. Even if a sharp blade is at your head, it is as if a sharp sword is cutting through the spring breeze.

Suddenly I realized the wondrous source of mind; the shell of ignorance cracked open, and all was the same. In dreams, the six realms were clearly present, but upon awakening, all was empty, devoid of saints or mortals.
