An unexpected event caused Garlon to travel back in time and become the only son of Galbert Glover, Lord of Deepwood Motte in the North. Just before Ned Stark's departure south, Garlon decided to propose to Sansa Stark for the sake of his family's fate. Years later, as Garlon Glover sat atop the Iron Throne, overlooking the Seven Kingdoms, he would often recall the night he duelled with Joffrey for Sansa's hand.
