Urbanization, the internet, economic development, and the popularity of cartoons and animation—all these roared through China at the beginning of the new century. But in towns and villages, life remained the same. There was no internet, no computers, yet childhood was still joyful, resonating happily in every sense of the word. The internet age wouldn't truly appear in their lives for another year or two.

As times change, Chen Bing picks up the past and savors the joy of growing up once again.

城市化、互联网、经济发展、卡通动漫的流行，一切都咆哮在新世纪初的中国。而在乡镇县城，日子仍旧是从前那般。没有网络，没有电脑，可童年依旧是愉快的，在各种意义上发出愉快的响声。互联网时代要到一几年，才会正式出现在他们的生活中。
而在时代的交替中，陈冰拾起过往，又一遍地体味着成长的快乐。
