He quelled a merchant rebellion, helped military academies speculate in stocks, and was known as the stock market guru of Whampoa Military Academy.

He led the Eastern Expedition and the Northern Expedition, and defended against 10,000 enemy troops at the gates of Nanchang. He was a famous general in the Northern Expedition.

He was a pioneer in the War of Resistance against Japan, dominating the southwest and leading an invincible youth army.

From a lowly junior student at the Whampoa Military Academy to someone whom everyone calls Commander Lü Muzhi.
