Centuries had passed, and the mortals in the temple were now nothing but skeletons. But on this day, amidst the roars of dragons and tigers, the Bodhisattva of Bones finally returned. With two sharp taps, the little girl struck the skull on the ground with her wooden fish stick. Two points of ghostly fire flashed, and the eerie body shrouded in tattered grey robes slowly rose. "In the East, there is a country called [Great Tang]." He pulled out two boxes of blank scriptures, and summoned a violent ape, a pot-bellied man, a disobedient monk, and a centaur. "On this journey eastward, you must overcome eighty-one tribulations before you can greatly prosper our sect and save all living beings." 白骨庙内，灰袍小僧对着十二品莲台上的伟大存在顶礼膜拜。“此世鬼魅当道、魍魉横行，菩萨可有救世良方？”难得回家探望一下姐姐，忽然被问了好深奥的问题。莲台之上，小姑娘困扰地挠了挠头，最后还是决定帮他问问。“等我回来！”悠悠百年，庙宇中的凡人已是一具枯骨。而这一天，龙吟虎啸之中，白骨菩萨终于归来。邦邦两下，小姑娘用木鱼棒敲了敲地上的头盖骨。两点鬼火闪现，破败灰袍包裹着的诡异身躯缓缓站起。“东土有国，名【巨唐】。”翻出两箱无字经，又唤来暴猿一只，大肚汉一位，破戒僧一个，人头马一匹。“此番东去，尔等需渡九九八十一难方可大兴我教，救赎苍生。”“敢问菩萨，我教何名？”众魔头齐声问道。“......”“容我想想！”
