Just caught up at 8823 chp, and believe me when I say this, this might be the One Piece of Chinese cultivation novel, the pacing is very outlandish and except for that, there is nothing else to hate it for, the characters are interesting, the plot is well written to say the least and the main thing is the author actually knows and has a certain direction figured out in which he wants the story to go, very rare in this genre, mostly the cultivation novels comes off as off the whim writing but this one has more than enough foreshadowings, pretenses, and lore implications to make it seems like the plotline is linear and that's very cool to see, some of the best aspect of the novel was the special cultivation realm and the actually rarity of the prodigies who can achieve it, unlike other stories where rare is just a facade and sometimes even contrary, but in this story there is a extreme realm achievement and thats probably the best cultivation mechanic I have ever seen in any novel, period. I would love to see how this novel comes around in the future and there is so much more to be seen that it makes you crave for it, and the plot direction which the author went is so vast that I think it will probably take 10 thousand more chapters to end the novel but that's cool tbh I don't care anyways. Final thesis:- very good but off to a slow start but gets better progressively. Positive aspects :- cultivation system, side characters, overlapping past present and future eras, foreshadowings, auxiliary power systems ex.Body, Soul, Great dao are well written. Negative aspects:- weapon and technique classification is kind of vague, the world building can be a little overwhelming for new readers, special constitutions and bloodlines aren't often used. I like the positive aspects enough to dismiss the negative aspects and that is the reason why it's a 5 star novel cultivation novel to me.

The Mysteries and depth of some side characters are way way way better than most of the Cultivation Novels out there and plot actually is not repeated like most of the Cultivation and the situation in lower realm and higher realm is way more complicated and there are even some foreshadowing and Mc also don't have a mindless plot armour and the way he fights people above his realm isn't total bonkers and is well portrayed

Yue Ru Hou whyyyy do you do this to me😭😭 I had so expectations, what about dao of destiny, what about surpassing ancestral realm, what about becoming a ancestral level expert with sword dao, what about his kid, what about suppressing purple kite saint in the same realm, GOD DAM ITT!!
