The author has choses the most retarded loser to get the system. He is such a beta pushover. Doesn't have any willpower and can't say no to anyone. The FL basically pushes herself onto him to be his girlfriend and he didnt say no even though he didnt like her like that. She takes all the decisions for him and in a tough spot he always looks at her. Its almost a runnng gag that he doesnt understand anything or cant hold a conversation but its not funny. He even gets a person pushed onto himslef as a passenger during a race and loses due to extra weight. He got 10 blue gatchas instead of 10 purple. Even though purple was the highest he ever got and was life changing. He wasnt even willing to reach for first and was satisfied to be mediocre. This MC makes me want to kill myself and the only reason im veen bothering because I want to read a F1 novel. I even wish the FL was the main character at this point. Rant over.

Good combination of racing and slice of life. Some peeves but doesn't affect the overall story much. Author has also added an imaginary Shanghai Grand Prix in 2022. Finally, pacing is slowish and chapters are few. Only 4 F1 Races in 100+ chapters.
