Novel Review:
I recently read a novel that, while presenting some interesting points, left much to be desired in the development of the plot and the protagonist's personality. The narrative was extremely rushed, which hampered immersion and the deepening of the story. With each new "cheat" acquired by the protagonist, his personality underwent a drastic and abrupt change, making him an inconsistent and unconvincing character. This lack of cohesion in the construction of the main character significantly compromised the reading experience.
I felt that the author prioritized the rapid progression of the plot at the expense of the organic development of the protagonist and the world around him. If the protagonist had focused on strengthening his initial abilities before seeking new "cheats," the story could have gained more depth and, consequently, more chapters. The constant feeling of haste left the narrative superficial and without the due emotional impact.
Considering these negative points, I give the novel a rating of 3. Although the initial premise was promising, the execution failed to deliver a satisfactory reading experience. The lack of development of the protagonist and the rushed narrative are the main factors that contributed to this assessment. A more careful construction of the character and a slower pace, allowing for a more organic development of the plot, could have significantly raised the quality of the work.
