It had such a rough start for the MCs that I wanted to quit. ML was so horrid but turns out FL had something to do with it. They were really sweet after they've cleared up their issues so it's worth the wait. It doesn't say in the tags but there's a cultivation element to it. I'm not that much of a fan though. I think I'm ok stopping where I am as they're starting to get into a new arc.

Title is misleading. The time period was mentioned to be in the '50s. It doesn't seem to be though. A greater part of the story you'll find FL and/or her family getting into fights. It was honestly very repetitive.
