The year he was born, Yemon saw the name "Higurashi Kagome" on the neighboring infant's name tag and began his long wait.
At age five, citing their shared shrine family heritage, he deliberately approached her in kindergarten and frequently visited the Higurashi Shrine.
At twelve, he encountered Kadōin Yura on the street and shamelessly sought her guidance in Onmyōdō arts, advancing his preparations.
Now, on his fifteenth birthday, fate is set in motion.
