The title itself is a metaphor, posing the question of whether this entire world is sustained by the sacrifice of a single, great entity, much like a whale's body nourishes an ecosystem after its death.

Now trapped in a genuine other world, the players, often referred to as the "Fourth Scourge," must confront this new reality. They are forced to fight for survival, grow stronger, and uncover the deep, buried truths behind the so-called game. The story explores their journey of facing this reality and deciding whether to accept their responsibility within it.
