The Fire of New Han (1)

What is hometown? It is an anchor for travelers on their journeys, and a dream to which they ultimately return. But when the distance from home changes from land and mountains to light-years and galaxies; when the years away from home grow from years to generations, hometown, to the wanderer, is ultimately... an anchorless place, a dream elusive. Young people, stepping on the red earth of the planet, gazed up at the boundless universe for the first time, only to be greeted by a dazzling galaxy and a deep sense of emptiness beneath. Hometown is nothing more than a humble set of three-dimensional coordinates, abstract and illusory. But for those determined to return, hometown is far more than empty coordinates; it is an ever-vivid and real presence, gleaming in their hearts.

故乡是什么？
是游者远行的锚，亦是旅者终归的梦。
但当离乡的尺度，从陆地山川，变为光年星河；
当离乡的岁月，从经年数载，变为几代人相隔。
故乡之于游子，终究是…锚无定处，梦难寻归。
踩在红土之星上的少年们，第一次抬头仰望无垠的宇宙，映入眼帘的，是璀璨的星河，与星河下深沉的茫然。
故乡不过是一组毫不起眼的三维坐标，抽象而虚无。
但对那些坚定的归乡者而言：故乡远非空洞的坐标，而是永远鲜活而写实的，闪烁在他们的心中。
