Really good writing and story. It’s a slow burning book so you won’t get the quick dopamine hit but I really like it

Writing quality is shit. Probably because of translation but the story itself is good as a quick snack. Nothing overly blood boiling and adventurous but still quite satisfying. Give it a read if there’s nothing better to do

Really good novel. I had my hopes up right from chapter 2. It is true that the mc has a couple opportunities lined up at the start but I think without him coming out his mindset he wouldn’t be able to utilize them. All in all I love the character interaction and the flow of the book. Pls give it a read.

I am still early into the book but it certainly deserves a higher rating. The mc takes strides forward and isn’t bitch like others. Of course in return for his speed of progression he also suffers many losses which is what keeps the book more realistic than others where the MCs have unparalleled luck. Edit: kept reading and this is really good. The ratings don’t match so I will give it more to balance out the retards

It’s a remake because the publisher of the original age of adepts seems to have a dick up his ass. But the author maintained the quality so it is just the same as the original. Excellent world building, characters, fights, adventures, etc. in fact I have no qualms in saying that this is the best wizarding web novel from the east. Yes, it’s even better than warlock of the magus world (in my opinion). Only issue is that I wish the mc is more ruthless as in controlling of his situation by having a strong enough leash around Mary because she is pretty unpredictable.

Really really liked it. But it’s not for everyone because it isn’t a xianxia or a xuanhuan world, instead it’s a high martial arts world meaning one man isn’t invincible and there is a lot of plotting. Lot lot lot lot of plotting. I like it, but some people might like powerleveling which is also ok but the plot for those type of novels usually isn’t as good.
