2nd time reading this book. Story really didn't start until chapter 38 but the story line was really good and exceptional, fun seeing a concubine play tricks openly to everyone including the emperor without pretending to be naive and virtuous as long as it benefits her. A really good read if you have the heart to beat it

The beginning of the novel was rocky and felt like a brainless male harem novel but reading further you will discover the hidden and true face of our mc , his ability to take anything that comes his way and use them to his advantage (both women and men). Even becoming an emperor. It's a good read if you want to laugh and feel relaxed 😌 but don't forget his ability to captivate multiple women at the same time and keep them in check ✔️
