This is like the pokemon genshin novel. Same pointless mc where the novel would be better off if he was cut out entirely. Story is like a 4 but the mc knocks off 2 points. And wth, what is even the point of reading how this meh bland as paper mc gets op crap over and over when he literally never does anything while being a cringe harem beacon. I swear, these novels always seem to write meh mcs that I can't give a sh*t about at all. At this point I wish they didn't exist at all. It makes me skip through whenever they're in the story lol. Besides that, the author's grasp of the source material is superficial.
My impression. Sloppy. It's like the author is rushing sloppily to write this. The inconsistencies with the source material and his own system bs keep piling up it's getting difficult to ignore. For ex, can he remember his memories from earth and his previous lives each life or not? Or remember the existence of the system each life or not? The author just can't make up his mind, he just ignores stuff like that and rushes forward with whatever's convenient. But it just comes off as clumsy. I can already see what the predictable endgame this trainwreck is heedlessly rushing towards. MC ends up with a MASSIVE harem with just about every fem genshin character.
Slumbag mc dragging down the story again. And the author uses his trashiness as a plot device to 'force' or 'correct' to the same plot as canon repeatedly. It's clumsy and boring and sticks out awkwardly every time he does it.
Agreed. Honestly these novels always seem to have mcs that just drag down the story. It would be better if they were cut entirely. They're pointless oc self inserts yet every other character fawns at their feet. Boring.
