A generic villain novel riddled with clichés, author self-insert syndrome, and mind-numbing repetition. The main character is granted an omnipotent background. This fails to deliver even a shred of excitement or dopamine.
The conflict is reduced to cliché “invincible hegemony” fighting, with the tired goal of becoming emperor. Instead of genuine cultivation, it’s just endless competitions and forced power-level jumps. The novel throws around terms like “Chaos Physique” as if name-dropping famous concepts is enough. But the writing shows zero understanding of what "chaos" even is — no mention of the disorder of all things, the evolution and interplay of Daos, or the assimilation of 3000 Great Daos. It’s all just brute force, poorly masked as profundity.
There are double public and supreme bones, but again, no explanation, no payoff. They’re just clickbait phrases. What do they actually do? How do they affect the MC’s path? You’ll never find out — because the author doesn’t bother to show or tell.
To make matters worse, the novel leans into the tired “humans vs. other races” cliché, where human supremacy is treated as the ultimate righteousness. It's handled so poorly and one-sidedly that it borders on racist and nationalist undertones, promoting tribalistic superiority rather than meaningful discourse or moral conflict.
---
In short: This novel is a lazy patchwork of shallow power fantasy, poorly used tropes, and nonsensical progression. It pretends to be profound but never scratches deeper than surface-level name-drops. Clickbait cultivation at its worst.
This novel feels like the author originally intended to write a romance but was pressured into producing a villain-style story. The result? A messy hybrid that fails to deliver on both fronts. After the mc suddenly proposes marriage to a sect master, the story loses all sense of direction — it's no longer romantic, nor villainous, just a confused narrative limping forward.
The world-building is painfully inconsistent. The Xiao family, for instance, is first portrayed as a dominant city-level power. Then, without explanation, it becomes a force at the empire level, then a continental force, and eventually a world-supreme one. These jumps feel arbitrary and forced, done purely for plot convenience without organic progression.
The MC’s physiques are another major letdown. They’re introduced with fanfare, given big names, but never explained or shown in action. Then they’re quietly discarded, replaced by something else like the “Grand Dao Saint Body” or some “Heavenly Dao” technique — again, no elaboration, no consistency. This bait-and-switch happens multiple times.
Even on the relationship front, things make no sense. His wife, who supposedly loves him deeply, says nothing when he takes concubines. There's no emotional reaction, no internal conflict — just lazy, unexplained writing. And this is just one example. There are numerous plot holes like this, where important threads are introduced and never resolved, or worse, conveniently ignored.
The story constantly introduces new powers, characters, or factions only to forget them soon after. Nothing feels like it truly matters, because nothing is built upon. Every development is shallow and short-lived.

In short: This is a story with no cohesive vision, marred by inconsistent world-building, wasted potential, and glaring plot holes. It feels less like a novel and more like a patchwork of half-baked ideas thrown together under a flashy title.
It's quite ok.....I am giving it just 3 star because of some personal feelings....I dislike how relationship handle in this novel...all are too easy and casually, heroine feels like w*ore who open their legs for anybody, and mc just happen to be lucky to get selected. Also I am not a milf fan so I can't get to understand the excitement of heroine who is mother of mc's peers for example lin yan and oin tian's mother, it feels awkward to me marrying a women who has son older than you and you even his enemy. Also it treating women just as tool, object to vent .... truly a lowly novel. And one of the women was also promiscuous I kinda forgot her name...han qian or something she had many male favourite...I can't understand the excitement of get together with this type of women. And also most of relationship are too causal shifting from one relationship to other causally.
How to say it's not my favourite type of novel. Initially, i quite like it but somehow it changed.
1. Too fast upgrade and stroy progression. Although reason explain but power gain and story itself seems to lack foundation, really on face slaps and plot Armor.
2. His harem is filled with all those girl who are bound to him, making it feels like transection not love. Also it show his greatness author would make women fall for him to the point he humble themselves too much even become a maid like that king realm female cultivator and aunt of one of twins, but our chad being the chad, he will not accept them. I don't have any problem with that it's MC freedom whom he choose author make it dirty....love shouldn't be so humble.
3. It doesn't explore much about other characters, making side characters, harem member without agency.
4. Too much fight and weak story and plot, it is too pridictable. But still ok in story mode but not the fighting one.
5. Dispute having other races MC didn't interact with as i wanted at least one harem member from different race...all are just humans.... human supermacy obsession, although very less compared to other generic novel were other race always against humans and MC destroy them all it is much better....its still not so perfect only if one women is not human.
6. Also too much water.... praising him...like he done something there will be too much trash talk before then opponent will die instantly and then people will talk about his deeds and this will go until new plot.
Nevertheless, i gave it 4 star for latest chapters and my emotional bounding during exams.
I was kinda hoping for MC to destroy or at least disbanded seven treasure school and what with this abandoning to die behaviour? They could do it openly it's not a shameful why kill those poor souls? Also i hate chattering system and i kinda don't understand this power system of new system and fanfic element. I also don't feel any growth or breakthrough in mc's Personality and relationship...lack of character development and interaction. This is not even a time MC has invincible person by her side but still live like a rat to face slap everyone from seven treasure to spirit hall to tang hao.
It's quite a good novel not as bad as other says especially the system it's one of my favourite. I would have given 3 star, but there are so many 1 star so i gave 4. But most bad things about this novel and main reason for me to not give it 5 stars is rushed end which let many things unresolved like relationships, undeveloped power etc. if novel go slowly without rush end this could be one of my favourite fanfic,
1. Can't something else blue silver emperor and cleak sky hammer? Seriously? Although it is good but not favourite. And he didn't even show them to public and even use was very less entire novel.
2. Why no one noticed his abnormal behaviour and powers.
3. Best thing in this novel MC having dragon god bloodline, creating self created spirit ring method, not mascaring spirit beast in name of training etc.
4. Also why didn't MC got asura power from asura god similar to ife and destruction power from God of life and destruction.
5. He was too favorable to shrek....it's not s problem just slightly uncomfortable as no one good or bad in this world everything is driven by intrest. But i kinda disliked how it swjite wash skrek whole other sects like body sect didn't. Honestly i kinda liked body sect, i feel their situation in this fanfic is quite similar to spirit in original novel.
6. For some it might be frustrating harem but it's not that abdominal but slightly frustrating and confusiing. Pity there is no Zhang lengxue as she is favourite fanfic character...why not add her too. Also why show their dog food to us if her partner is not MC? And i feel author make evenone fall for him but didn't fullfil them like author drop the idea half way. Like ju zi, xu jiujiu, meng hongchen, Ning tian, ye guyi etc well most likely reason is rushed end.
7. Many heroine never seen after introducing once. Rushed story.
9. Why did you revive bibi dong? Just to kill her? How much you hate her? If you want a villain ye shisui and long xiaoyao are still there but in this fanfic they never shown.
Few points. Don't why so many stars
1. It's quite realistic to break off the engagement while you are good for nothing especially in fantasy world even in real world if you don't have money you might not get married. But they shouldn't insult him.
2. Also he started to show off in sects after his spirit evolution.....what was author thinking? And they didn't kill him? Despite seeing his talent? Why would tang hao let him go?
3. What's with mascaring spirit beast for training.....i mean seriously?
4. Also how can star lao empire far superior to seven glazed treasure school? How Ning rongrong can seriously beaten and injured but nothing happen especially with a wasted primce like him... i don't side with Ning rongrong but at least make you opponent worthy not cannon fodder....
5. Feels like author forced to write think without effort just lazy writing.
Few things or points....a wasted potential...system ruins it.
1. It might be good but in don't like chattring treasure inside MC, especially if it is not women it gives me gay feeling. Speaking of which why he didn't get any cultivation method or technique from it, wasn't his spirt was from primodial cultivation era?
2. Why did he hunt spirit beast by himself, can't he wait, why do unnecessary work? His explanation was full of loop holes, you you really think spirit hall is rightous organisation (no one is).
3. His spirit can't deserve that grand name. Is he a twin Marital soul ? But inhavent seen it! If not then what is in synopsis.
4. Feels like system slave, can't even think or make dicison without it. And what type of system is this can't even give special spirit rings while it can give power spirit? He still need to kill beast for Power like a brute demonic cultivator? For human supermacy ?Truly useless.
5. His treasure all living beings equal kasaya makes him invincible? What's it's limit?why not use it as innate domain?
6. Becoming hero, was nesseresry? He got himself in trouble and plot Armor saved him, can't tang hao found out about you in so many days? Truely rediculous.
7. I can't understand this heartbeat, red face and leg weak behaviour no matter how beautiful the women one should not go through this situation even for virgins who haven't seen a women.... truly a cringe take. Also it boring cringe watery words. Also ...how he interact zhu zhuqing feel like a simp.
8.In competition you can't use weapon outside of body, so why can you use your weapon, vajra?
9. 29 level at 12 i can understand author nerf him to match with tang san but was it really nesseresry?
I like few things about this novel. The artificial spirit rings, thinking about spirit beast and actually doing something about it, unification from a pawn i.e heaven dou empire with behind the scene being the mc and spirit hall, harem relationship as I like harem novels though progress might feel hasty, beating of tang san, yu xiaogang, tang hao etc, his powers which is not foolishly limited to his spirit rings as author feels like really put effort into it.
Few things I find uncomfortable is half hearted diary system which was quite inconsistent, few character never shown which was a pity like bai ji, empress, deep sea whale for harem etc.
And yeah i didn't get paid for it
