The world drowned in chaos when the zombie virus struck, but for Ji Chuan, the true horror began after the fall. Having survived the initial outbreak in his parents’ secluded villa, his compassion became his downfall. Answering the desperate pleas of his girlfriend, Su Wanwan, he braved the undead hordes to rescue her and her family, bringing them to safety.
But when the Red Moon granted powers to humanity, Ji Chuan awakened nothing. Deemed useless, he was brutally betrayed – cast out by Su Wanwan and her secret lover, Liu Hao, left broken and bleeding outside his own sanctuary. Bitten and left for dead, Ji Chuan expected oblivion.
Instead, he awoke. His body was monstrous, decaying, yet his mind remained sharp. A horrifying realization dawned: he was a zombie, but one unlike any other. He was the Zombie King, possessing the unique ability to sense and consume the crystal cores embedded within the undead, absorbing their powers and growing stronger with each kill. Fueled by the chilling memory of betrayal and an insatiable hunger for power, Ji Chuan embarks on a dark path of vengeance in a world teetering on the brink. He is the monster they created, and now, he’s coming back for them.
I don't know what author is trying to do but this story is a faliure, according to me because if bodies of both world can't learn other world's technique then what's the point of this novel what's the point of two bodies and I can understand about not being able to practice magic/meditation in xianxia world and vice versa but why can't he practice knight breathing technique which uses lifeforce at the beginning at the very least he could atleast enter reserve/apprentice knight stage but even that is not possible.
Mc is retard for not trying to gain more knowledge and not coming to terms with his maternal family and if it is risky, he can just travel with excuse of seeing the world and disguise himself as old mage and learn magic if he thought a little, although his immortal dao inheritance has much Higher upper limit and decent combat power he should still make efforts to learn more knowledge for his knowledge reservoir and why didn't he even seek a glance at warrior method even though there were many book in library although he did said that his inheritance (body refining) is much better in quality, then again can't he read few for knowledge purpose.
I have read till the latest chapter in toma#o and this novel is definitely best among power leveling theme of martial arts genre.
It has little bit of sci-fi theme to serve as background.
There are many unreasonable stuff in this novel that are just retarded that are anger inducing.
When will these cn authors stop this habit of portraying self righteous bitches as cute.
