What a weird copy paste plot. Author adds too many characters at once while some events are left unresolved because the setting keeps changing.
There's barely anything I would call a climax for every sub-plot that occurs. Example: One child of destiny disappears cause MC doesn't kill them, 70 chapters later they reappear and I get confused with "Who is this guy again?"
Things get erratic and this pattern becomes repetitive throughout the novel. Romance is mid, nothing memorable.
Dull, bland and boring. Makes me question if this was written using AI.
For example, there's no emotional dialogues or foundation established between the characters. All dialogues feel like a transaction especially w/in the MC's family. No heartwarming scenes basically.
The fights do not feel that of a cultivation novel. More of a western fantasy novel. "Fireball" -wtf?? There's barely mention of techniques, their usage, purpose, and perks.
Events move rapidly and kind of messed up. Character A does this and that then ends. Proceeds to the next without proper elaboration.
Seriously, this is trash writing even if I didn't like how everything felt transactional. Moreover, the MC is pretty unremarkable. He isn't some suave, charismatic or cunning protagonist. He feels more of an NPC than the villains.
FYI the author has been accused of writing content using AI.
Not to mention how repetitive, bland and boring the plot is. You'd feel you'll lose a large amount of brain cells trying to understand this novel.
It's pretty annnoying in with the white washing of the female protagonist in the early chapters. Felt like this novel could have gone further without the "Oh the element of luck forcibly reduced my IQ so I fell in love with the Dragon King" because it just sounds lazy writing.
The romance part carried most of the plot as it would drown how MC is in his 2nd reincarnation but is still a simp to the female protagonist despite being abandoned. The author basically does not address this part to rush the romance (MC is unable to hate the FMC despite the what happened). I was expecting a bit of a genuine drama before the MC and FMC finally became a couple.
This is incredibly stupid even for an exclusive face-slapping novel.
Scenario 1: MC kills ex-fiancee's father and develops a blood feud then r*p*s her but doesn't kill her. Casually promises that her father will be resurrected in the future then later on becomes infatuated with the MC. What kind of shithole development is that? 😂
The plot hole regarding the cultivation system has been pointed out so I won't elaborate further.
Scenario 2: In the dog eat dog world of cultivation, the transmigrator MC still is unable to comprehend the concept of "cutting the roots of a grass". Pretty repetitive throughout the story.
It's a really generic face-slapping xuanhuan plot as others mentioned. Is it done masterfully? No it isn't. It is a good read to pass time? Then yes. Just be prepared to turn off your brain.
I did like how the MC cucks his enemies. What a dumpster fire novel 😂
What an excellent and interesting read. Each chapter maybe lengthy but the content doesn't get boring.
There's also no "Can't kill them because they're protected by the Heavenly Dao" which makes sense. If the heavenly dao starts unilaterally favoring one being then that world would be in utter chaos
Chapters are incomplete.
The only thing I probably liked about the plot was about the MC's business acumen and use of his knowledge as a transmigrator to elevate his family.
The rest are bland and boring. To save you some time. This novel is rated ridiculously low from the original source..
