Fun to read at first but expectedly it becomes boring once the MC gains status and progresses up the realms. Specifically when the MC goes to the capital city, it's no longer that interesting. Also the powerscaling is all over the place in the later stages.

The story was a 4/5 until the terrible rushed ending. It looks like it got cancelled and the author just pushed everything into one final chapter. So much wasted potential.

Novel gets boring quick around chapter 300. Once the story turns from martial arts to immortal cultivation, it becomes boring. MC also just waltzes through all enemies now. He "holds back" in most of his fights before oneshotting the enemy. He no longer has anymore close fights. There are also too many enemies popping out of nowhere. Once MC kills a small minion, a larger one comes, and then a disciple or saint/saintess, then their master, then the sect/organization behind them the the elders, sect masters, emperor, etc. And then even when MC destroys that organization, there's apparently an even bigger organization behind them so rinse and repeat.

Interesting novel. But the author has 2 issues: 1. Side characters outshining the MC. For half of the novel, the Emperor is a much more interesting character than the MC. 2. Forgetting the MC's original motivation - to find his parents. MC is never even reunited with his mother even after taking out his uncle.

The main character has the personality of a wet towel. While the setting is interesting, there is nothing interesting about the MC. First he is already Immortal so his cultivation is only for vibes. He doesn't even seem to enjoy cultivation. All he does is fight for resources then lie dormant for a decade or two. The author has him spend time with several side characters but since this guy is basically a budget psychopath, it doesn't mean anything. Even when people he lived with, who considered him friends, die - he shows zero emotion. Like one of the biggest draws of an immortal MC is slow burn stories like this is usually the author using the MC to show the readers the unforgiving nature of time. A lot of authors also make the MC untied or unsocial to avoid this, but here the author does neither of the above. So all we are left feeling is nothing since the MC feels nothing.

Good series to waste time. But don't expect any depth, after all it is a system Harem novel where MC gets to powerup even if he does nothing. At most he will give a few resources to the harem members and then get like a 50-fold return or something.

So much potential but it seems the author is intent on ruining it starting from chapter 430. First he has the MC's "brother" in grave danger and leaves it at a cliffhanger. MC also doesn't do anything to help despite his tracking ability. He is busy frolicking with some random woman that just got introduced. Author made this woman look like someone from MCs life on Earth and now the MC is "falling in love" then wanting to be ruthless and kill her to eliminate future inner demons and a bunch of other nonsense like being humiliated by her family because of his "low status". Mind you his novel went 400+ chapters without a love interest despite MC having many beautiful women around him. I just wish that CN authors would stick to their strengths. If you don't know how to write romance then just leave it be. Like the last 17 chapters have been so cringe. And the important things like the status of the MC's "brother" are left unaddressed.

Bros cultivation is slow as hell. And the cheat doesn't even make him stronger than warriors of the same level. Like even when he had 8 times speed/agility he still struggled to keep up with an assassin who had lower cultivation level than him. Now the author has upgraded the cheat to 16 times speed and strength stats and I just know the bullshit is gonna continue since he can't do math. Taking it down to a 2 star. After 600 chapters with a fairly normal MC, the author suddenly decided to turn the MC into a baby killer who wipes out villages just cause they are "barbarians" (I hate the barbarian trope the most). I don't know what changed in the author's life to make him more hateful and xenophobic but it unfortunately bled into the story ruining the MC's character. Looks like chapter 626 will be my last.

First 100 chapters was good but after that things get too convoluted. I thought it was nice that MC created his own organization but then all the heavenly dao stuff was too weird. MC was also obsessed with hiding things from his love interest when all she wants to do is to protect him. So he was basically lying to her for no reason while revealing his secret to every rando he could find. It reaches a point that even his fiance's littles sister knows his secret yet he hasn't told his actual future wife. Because of that, she is out there still taking risks even when she didn't need to.
