Although I haven't read too much, I think it's fairly okay. It's a beast taming novel essentially with all the face slapping parts included with these types of novels. The main thing that interests me in this novel is the intelligent "Spirit pets" that can actually talk to him and stuff. There are way too many woman surrounding the main character though for my taste. All of his spirit pets are female and the people he's around are also female. He *spoiler* attends a all-female academy where one of his female rivals and another person become interested in him and they argue over him. In short, it's very annoying to see people fawn over the MC just because he's capable. Their families even told them to get closer to the MC. *end spoiler* I sincerely hope the MC does not end up in a romantic relationship with any of those woman in the end. If there's a love interest or multiple, I would prefer it to be the spirit pets or something. I'll give it a 3.5 for now, rounding to 4 to balance out the 1 star review.

It's a pretty good book so far. The main character isn't a complete psychopath and cold-blooded killer. He has emotions and connections in the real world and the mission worlds. But he also doesn't hesitate to kill who he should. Though there is a tiny bit of "China is the best" in the book, you can ignore it (I haven't seen much nationalism so far). The MC does join the government to protect his sister and himself until he grows up. But he isn't a lackey for the government by any means. He gets the benefits basically by doing nothing but staying alive (That's how one of the characters described his new job promotion in the book). And eventually **spoiler** all governments are basically destroyed and the population of Earth is moved to a cultivation world. Also if you're worried about the MC's sister being his weakness, she actually dies in the middle of the story basically and the MC respects her decision to die naturally and doesn't try to revive her or keep her alive or anything. Once you get to a certain point, the MC becomes so powerful that basically all fights lose suspense and people are scared of him. I don't really have an opinion on that, having read countless novels with overpowered protagonists. **end spoiler** I would like to see more of what happens to the world after the MC leaves just to satisfy my curiosity but that's just a personal preference. I tried this book because it reminded me of a similar book (Reincarnation/Samsara Paradise: https://wtr-lab.com/en/serie-291/reincarnation-paradise?tab=about) which I started reading but stopped because I thought the author quit writing it (They just took a temporary break but now it's finished). It does have a lot of similar tropes and I can't really say which is better.

Hm, if you ignore all the racism and nationalism, it's actually a fairly decent book. I would say the ideas in the novel are pretty unique. From what I've seen (Ch. 178), basically the main character Lin Ye creates these extremely hard dungeons relying on his modern knowledge that other people play and fail to pass because the world's technology is only at the World War 1 stage (I think it said). The whole book so far is just exploring people playing his dungeons. Not much of a real plot. If you're looking for that kind of thing, you won't find that here. It's a lot of face-slapping. Like a lot. If you don't like that kind of thing and hate racism, then stay far away from this book. Supposedly the world in the book has no countries yet the factions are basically the countries in real life. There's China, the U.S. , Germany, Korea, etc. The book is set from the points of views of various characters that play the dungeons. You rarely see Lin Ye's POV and even when you do, it's kind of just there, not serving much purpose. The dungeons are actually kind of interesting to read about (in my opinion). Well the second dungeon is definitely less realistic with future technologies that don't exist, but the first one is good. I don't know much about history or military technologies, so I can't comment on the realism of that stuff. But it's a fictional book. Just ignore anything that may seem illogical and the nationalism and you'll be fine to read this book. **Edit: I've read up to chapter 441 now and I won't spoil it too much but let's just say the first ~420 chapters are just a prologue to what's to come. It sounds really exciting. I've binge read this book in 2 days and I'm kind of sad that I'm going to have to wait for new chapters. *** Edit 2: Well I've finished reading this book, was restless and started searching for similar books and found a book with the exact same concept and ideas but different execution. Here's the link to a raw copy: https://www.69shuba.com/book/58410.htm

I liked it at first but then the nationalism/racism started when the *spoiler* information from a sci-fi world was obtained (around chapter 200). The novel paints Westerners as these despicable people who steal technology and smear other countries for no reason. I can't stand it. Sure, some westerners aren't the best people but isn't that true for every country? Maybe it'll get better but I'm not staying around to see the rest of the story. It's a pity. I really liked the story. Give it a try if you can withstand some racism toward western countries (aka Americans mostly).

On chapter 543 and it's very good. A unique concept compared to other system and sci-fi novels. The protagonist can't really directly increase his strength with the system but can increase the overall civilization's strength. My recommendation is to give this a try.
