The first arc I consider pretty good, but once he becomes emperor it starts to get boring. He gets strong and then he finds out the world is larger and enemies are stronger, so he becomes 2 major realms stronger than his enemies before he deals with them. The pace is pretty fast but at the same time it feels extremely slow because mc basically doesn’t do anything until he’s strong again. Also I think it’s annoying how everyone keeps guessing his strength and worrying about the new enemies. They’re like are you in the so and so realm like the enemy, and mc is like no I’m not in the so and so realm, but he doesn’t explain how he’s 2 realms ahead and causes everyone to worry. Once it got the end of the demon emperor ruin arc and started talking about other worlds I dropped bc I know it’s just going to be more of the same.
Something else that annoys me, is how he keeps talking about how he has to go slow with unifying the continent otherwise it’ll be chaotic and could all far apart later, but he is literally the strongest person on the continent and in his world so it’s not like he couldn’t just force it to work.
Great, while this is a cultivation novel, I like how it is more focused on his position on the divine path and how he enjoys his job. It’s nice to read something different from all the cliche cultivation novels.
Interesting first world, had to drop it though because every ff that takes place in little garden ends up making me incredibly confused with how the power system etc works.
