Not a bad novel. Very unrefined but great use of system and love the progression (he is meant to be OP)
However, the author has the worst sense of time i have ever seen. You can read 50 chapters and so so so so much has happened but somehow its ONLY 2 DAYS. I am certain it has been way way longer since he mentions refining pills for 40 HOURS (and more hours that are just termed several).
So basically, pacing is good as long as you ignore how stupidly time is moving.
Additionally, it is a great "Level up" novel, but its emotional depth and characters' personalities are as bland as boiled and unsalted chicken after a while.
Not bad, but not at all good.
*minor spoiler*
Some plot holes as to how, in just ten year, there are so many martial arts. I understand till Transformation level since they exist in real life already, and some Qi level arts makes sense too. BUT most Qi level arts are overpowered beyond common sense.
The author never mentions why they have such earth shattering level arts but cannot refine higher quality qi and blood pills that could be made even before the apocalypse. Are they truly from ancient Chinese eras? without even qi, they could make mental control arts? Dragon Elephant Prajna? Son of Heaven something? Supreme Root Wisdom blah blah scripture. Too far, no explanation when martial artists are still struggling compared to awakeners.
Anyway. Still would read because it is admirable if this author is a new one.
