hahahahaha .. okay i give it 5 start just for the comedy aspect .. well written too (harem stuff is barely focused on which is a plus in my view) ... its rare for me to enjoy a novel with harem tag on it .. i would give it more stars but the maximum is 5 also everything got dull after chapter 900 (the plot/story is stereotypical) P.S. i dont see the MC as villain/evil ... atmost he is playful and indifferent

so far its a good one .. the only thing i dont like is how low the EQ of the MC is.. like he is being pushed around as if he is a nanny .. for example "oh you risk your life for an item.. sell yourself for humanity "(talking about the incident with the book. chapter 84).. ofc idc about that but he never takes the initiative or fights(other humans) for his interests, overall i see the MC as meek.. also the MC doesnt deserve the selfish tag. its a good novel so i rate it 5 stars.. though i might lower the rating depending on the later chapters. lowered to 2 star (+1 star for good world building, +1 star for good story, -1 star about the MC(mentality and actions), -1 star about the author allways writing about female relationship/drama, -1 star for being too ... naïve ? for example its too idealistic, be it how things are described (between characters or situations) and how the authors focuses on humanity/protection/sacrifice/obligation..etc. for example in chapter 953-4 (the fight with novikov), the author made it sound like he was this evil/big bad person (because novikov has killed multiple 'humans') ... it doesnt have any balance thats why i say its idealistic. (idc about good or evil and what the MC does .. my point is that the story/events are tilted to one side(example chapter 979) and thats not a good thing (imo)) also it starts to get on my nerve how the MC is .. people plot against him, manipulate him into events/situations, abuse him(take advantage of him) and in the end the MC is like "he was soo touched" or "he was moved deeply" like bruh, being meek and naive is another thing but this dude is blind aswell (delusional, because he focuses on the good things which is 20-30% and ignores the rest which is 70-80% ). P.S. MC can be easily manipulated/plotted (be it emotionally or blackmailed) into actions/events .. also sometimes its funny to read about when the MC is sacrificed/made use of, while the MC is thankful to the person who took advantage of him. but it gets old/dull after 500 chapters..

a bit nonsensical/illogical/delusional... its like reading about a bunch of teenagers(14-18yo) so i had to skip some parts (or whole chapters) because they are long winded (bunch of nonsense) or focused on ethics, humanity, relationship(banter), drama ..etc. like i guess the author writes it so readers can get related to the characters but im not interested in how the MC thinks and feels towards others or how other characters look or feel. also the author writes that the MC is 25-26 years old .. but i doubt that P.S. the mentality of the MC gets him in trouble (based on his assumptions/naivety)

reading chapter 168 its like , ah yes .. chines desire about being an emperor with 3000 concubine.. Lmao tho so far its good one even if sometimes its ridiculous. anyway, i finish reading "Night Evolution" and i liked the style so i thought of checking the author's other works .. are these 2 books connected ? maybe they are not in the same plane of existence but there is alot of similar things .. like im almost done with reading it and sometimes im stuck pondering which one is first and second ..

up to chapter 400, everything was perfect .. after that the author started to focus on other stuff(romance/relationship).. especially in the cooking/gourmet ark/world Update: after the cooking world .. everything went back to normal.. not the best but overall its a good novel, soo 5 stars P.S. i find it funny how the MC collects females from every world he goes trough (for example the author description for MC followers are 8/2, meaning 80% female and 20% male)

a very good start.. tho the only thing i dont like is how the MC interacts with females (including the maid) also how the author describes females beauty/figure/charm...etc, for example when the MC gets 'stunned' or 'dazzled' when looking at some female .. i roll my eyes over... every time the author writes "Yin Shilan"i skip the next few paragraphs and continue reading .. if the story feels weird then i would go back and re read it .. if not then its probably some nonsense .. chapter 33 is funny .. it would be more interesting if the MC had the mentality of "come at me Bro, taste my bombs"
