I have read quite some cultivation novels (Including a lot of trash ones). But this one is by far one of the best in the sense of showing the charm and ability of a cultivator. In most novels they are only good at fighting or killing. If they could know any of the 100 schools of art is already amazing enough. Some cases they are good at all 4 (array, pill, refining, talisman), but ultimately those overly cheat filled mc can't just do anything for themselves. They don't create anything new, their presence don't help the world, people or anything at all. This novel may not be able to scratch all of your itches, but at least it has shown that a person's cultivation can affect the world, help it advance. In this novel a cultivator (high level one) has enough power to change the world and rule in a positive way. Also can help increase the spiritual energy of their surroundings (not formation, permanent increase), all other some interesting factors of cultivation is well depicted in the novel. In most novels cultivators never really had any other power than to kill or act mighty. They had to look for better place with spiritual energy, need to get better cultivation method, even the most talented MC will be using someone else cultivation technique. While in the same novel all these techniques were created by other cultivators who might not even be anywhere near as good as him. Even though this novel has its little cheat, but ultimately this has some part that makes me feel like the cultivation world far more than what is shown in other novels. There are far more things immortals can do and far more things they should have been able to do. It's a small novel with 310 chapters, but it is very unique and amazing; if there any good novels where MC has more role, more creative, more creation (cultivation techniques, pill recipe, formation, etc wise), or even World advancement, etc.. Please let me know...
It's not complete. And it has many problems. But it is alright for time pass. Nothing much, it just repeat the same sht 3 times and the third one is incomplete 😬
It's ended pretty fast... It was indeed a mixed bag without anything amazing about the story or the world building. Just some old Chinese novel things... At least there was a brief ending which was far better than reading more than a 1000+ chapters of mediocre story taken from other old books without much changes. 😓
It's interesting indeed. But it could have been better. The author gave him infinite comprehension, but he actually didn't made anything groundbreaking with it. 😕
There is a system, but it is kinda useless. And this has a lot more going on than just system. It is well written, with interesting story. And a good one in the genre of "invincible OP mc" type novels.
