Well its not bad. But lack action. Mc is down to earth. He is more a merchant or busnessman rather than warrior, he is not genius but resourceful. well i must say MC is playing real game of thrones. In War, in court - deception is everywhere. Sometimes its becomes confusing - Wtf mc gonna do? For what reason he is doing what he is doing. No cheats, no system. MC is like Varis Petyr and Ed Stark in one body - knight, consiprator and politician. Mc is good to his subjects and nightmare for his enemies. He is grey/just but not cruel.

Although the author uses TV series and movies as a basis, he builds his own plot and does not follow the so-called "canon". I recognized several movies and TV series. I haven't watched the rest and I didn't have any difficulties understanding what was happening. Knowing the plot sometimes helps the main character, figure out the general direction of action, but not the details. So anything can happen in the future. The system helps the main character quickly master new skills, but does not make him a superman. At some point, the author abandoned the system altogether. I would like to note that the main character works in a team, you will not see such a thing as the main character dragging everything on himself, and everyone around is just smoking and pretending to be fools. But somewhere around chapter 1000, he clearly started to slack off. He can clearly do more, but the author is very clearly putting spokes in the wheels to advance the plot and it looks somehow awkward. World building is good, mc is not the centre of universe, life goes on for ppl even outside the plot. And as strange as it may sound, characters have character. P.S. as in many detective stories the author forgets to dilute all the tension, there are no pauses between cases at all (there were at first, but disappeared) and it feels like main character sits and investigates cases 24/7 and it feel suffocating sometimes.
