Fun read, better than expected When I saw that the MC is a fun seeking person I was worried. Too many novels have their characters acting like war criminals and unbearable 'for fun' and I'm glad that didn't happen here. MC has a bottom line which is surprising for a Chinese MC.

It's a nice casual read but don't expect too much logic with the power system and pacing. As an example, most of the government elites which get little mentions are tier 4 by estimation, he is tier 3 when he had formal contact with them. Some time later, tier 7 and 8 demons invade reality. Big jumps like that happen frequently which means that most side characters who are not already strong become strong too slowly to matter in the story much. The MC (hehe MC) gains MC power with unlockable mods but as you might guess, after a few mods, especially the overpowered ones, he just quickly outscales people. There's not much tension and what each power tier can do isn't relevant since he mostly stomps them after each equipment and rule update. The local government mentioned in earlier chapters but they quickly become irrelevant and no longer mentioned much later. Overall 4 stars since it's meant to be casual, -1 star since the faction formation wasn't that interesting or well development considering the potential of his power.

Very nice so far and hoping for more chapters. 5 stars because there's not enough novels like this that have good quality. As for the two star review by the other user, you can guess from the number of 26 chapters read from his review to see that he didn't read it much. The technology for different universes have some overlap but are not "easily" understood considering the different unique resources and ideas. After a few chapters they actually discuss technology being cracked but since most of his tools are easily produced with the system and ability he would be creating it far cheaper and faster than if the natives slowly tried to decipher the tech. Minor spoilers. In addition, they later try to move terran warp engines to WH ships which has some success although production and full ability of the engines are still lacking. The author does address those and other similar issues with "other universe" stuff or even people being different from WH stuff.

Overall disappointing but if you are bored you can read this. The story premise is ok but many parts were ignored. The elf princess he first met directly got forgotten after introducing the plant upgrades. She was supposedly a princess but her kingdom never came up in the next 200 chapters even as a small mention, the fallen elf tree was also forgotten with her, and so was the captive princess and enemy angel Erica got the same treatment. Most of the interactions with the Livestream remain similar throughout the novel except from the very start. Other fantasy races in the human world were not discussed although they exist given the elf princess. The pet dragons are only display trophies and become irrelevant after a few fights, they get forgotten like the rest of the side characters. No meaningful interactions with side characters or outside factions outside of harem candidates and face slapping characters who will be quickly destroyed. All in all a 2 stars but since I didn't finish it I'll give it a 2.5 to be generous.

It's ok but many parts made it unenjoyable. For some important plot points the logic is weak and unexplained. For example, in earlier chapters they knew that MC had access to internet/phones but never bothered to check accounts on who is accessing network in the mountains. Even if they were allies or tentative allies at that point why did no one check? The human spy was very suspicious at many points, he made frequent calls to MC which was somehow never discovered. As the Sample for the Gene medicine and the strongest of a city you are telling me that no one monitored him? Not even the authoritarian government? Another big example is that he is around the 50-60th to become 5th rank. But it has been less than a 2 years or even a year since spiritual revival, he had Devour so he was fast even if he started a few months late he can get to 5th tier but how did others do it? It was never discussed. Another is the healing medicine. Why would the government allow it to be exclusive? And how did no one else develop it considering it mainly required only Tier2 or 3 plants to research? There are more complaints like how are the other animals so fast in cultivating outside of his faction considering they only passively cultivate, since no natural treasure/blessed land has been found as of my reading, something relatively common in this setting for a reason. Or how they introduced enemies that had hundreds if not thousands of tier 5 soldiers which they somehow repelled and even tier 6 on that same battle with normal if elite soldiers + tier 1-2 soldiers and tier 3-4 mutant beasts. All in all it's a nice concept that didn't deliver.

It's ok but not great. The main character is not relevant, his family got introduced then forgotten. If he disappears no one aside from his mother would notice and most of the hero works and plans are standard with no surprises. If they removed the main character and introduced a bot managing the system nothing would change, that's how boring and plain the main character is. They tried introducing characters who are then forgotten and ignored, tried making new settings like the true government secret service behind the secret service nine, Felix, Red Girl, and the grove group that never got expounded and explored afterwards. The characters are mainly uninteresting and the story jumps around on a new villain/group which is easily resolved. The story is overall bland and predictable.
