Character development, very low.
But in terms of world building, logic, power development and symbolism it's plus ultra.
The way how the mc developed and fight these divine, gods , spirits and etc is truly poetic and well researched in using religious quete and doctrines. My current favourite part is how he uses the 10 commandmends to judge his foe. That scene.. 💋 🔥 is fire. I can't find any way to critique it.
Good start, but the story gets frustrating fast.
What really annoyed me was the MC's reaction after using his cheat system to level up from 14 to 20 instantly—no side effects, and the cost is easy to replenish. Yet he suddenly says things like "it feels empty" or "too idle" and decides to sideline his own overpowered system just because it's too convenient. Seriously?
Then the MC goes on some win streak that catches the attention of royalty, only to realize surprise! he’s still weak. And just when it's time to get his third ring, he discovers some treasure—basically a natural soul ring—and the moment he touches it, he gets injured, launches into a dramatic monologue, and starts blaming himself for being weak.
What’s worse? He suddenly gets all “ambitious” and throws himself into a life-or-death situation, when he literally has a faster, safer, and more effective path to power. He could absorb even 10-year rings and upgrade them into 100,000-year rings with cheap, accessible resources. But nope—we’re back to forced hardship and drama.
It feels like the author realized they made the MC too OP and is now sabotaging his progress for the sake of dragging out the plot. It’s frustrating to read.
My only problem is that it adds a lot of things that shouldn't have happened or I mean some things were fast forward so it felt like this shouldn't have happened at this point like feeling.
I had enough, I know it's power climbing type novel and there will be battles but honestly this one just doesn't have a break. Everyday, or to three days there is battle even on normal date. It kinda fed me up too much of fight
