I totally lost hope in the novel by the end. Wish you had just said it was a f*cking Fanfic from the start—I wouldn’t have wasted my time. Do new authors seriously have no original ideas left?? Has the world run out of creativity? Why borrow from some disabled story, anime, or game? Can’t you come up with f*cking something new?? I can read a whole pile of trash by an original author, but I can't even get through two chapters of a cringey Fanfic.

Actually, what made me keep reading despite the dumb beginning was that the novel doesn't contain any racism against Japan. There is some, but it's directed at the United States instead 😂 But that’s actually a good thing—especially since the novel falls under the "Gao Wu" genre in many ways. Literally the first novel in this genre without any anti-Japanese racism. But after that, the story started to fall apart. Actually, saying "after that" is generous—it was a mess from the beginning. And the fact that the strongest being in the universe is a rat—that’s also what kept me reading, because it felt so unique. I'd rate it one star, but thanks to the lack of racism and the Gao Wu theme, it gets bumped up to four.
