I haven't dropped it yet but in the high hundreds I started skimming pretty often and it's only gotten worse in the 1200-1400 range as the story has become increasingly repetitive.

I know web novels like this are made with 0 thought despite the authors note "will work hard to figure out every plot and do its best to write a good-looking book" but why is the swimming coach letting him drink a ton before an important athletic test when he thinks the MC is a normal human?

Extremely drawn out and the authors sex obsession doesn't help

Like many other web novels a guy owns a shop in a cultivation/fantasy world with a pet lottery, vr games that train real skills, food with super effects, the MC obviously being reincarnated but not knowing it (why is it always reincarnation?) etc. I've seen all these things in multiple other web novels but this version is slightly worse and has some annoying parts like instead of just remembering his past life he has both souls in one body talking to each other regularly which I'm never a fan of.

The author wants us to care about every tiny cultivator as if they were protagonists and I really don’t. Update after reading a bunch more: The author doesn't let any plotline develop and keeps introducing new things to add word count, the MC also bows down to the government after they try to kill him.
