Weak plotting because of the harem nonsense.
At first, with his best friend being let in on the coming future, I had hopes for this. At the very least, it indicated we would not be subjected to another selfish hoarder who'd store a million years worth of food for some reason.
However, too soon, the buddies are separated for the foreseeable future. Now we have the MC surrounded by his harem alone.
Alone?
Yes. The only other companions we know of are an old man who isn't even a companion. A little kid, and an insane guy.
So basically, no other males around to compete for female attention because they are either too young or neutered.
Pathetic really.
Unfortunately, the story focuses on multiple powers. A Jack of All Powers. That just cuts the story to nothing but plot armor.
And, like with every mind excessive because they don't know what to do with what is in hand, the plot adds a harem.om it all. 3 girls, when we don't even know enough about the first.
Overall, poor plot sinks it. He could focus on the one ability, then let us see it evolve over time. But a 'copy' skill ability? On top of being gifted a free ability with every level up? You'd have to read a 1000 chapters for the story to develop something meaningful and relevant to the apocalypse world they are in.
Mediocre.
Should have suspected as much when I saw the 5 powers in the book intro, but I'm an optimist. Unfortunately, things were as I feared; slop no different from the worst out there, with the fact that the author knows there is a lot of crap out there making it worse.
Could have been so much better were it not for the whole freebie points stuff.
Why not stop at the dimensional space bit? Bad enough it came with a warehouse, why bother stocking up a warehouse with souch if you are not strategic about it? Am I wrong in that I missed seeing fuel being stocked?
Truth is, a dimensional space was enough. Laters, it can be evolved to dimensional rifts, dimensional portals, etc. so much room for development
Throwing in the freebie stuff just shows laziness. An inability to really develop the plot is showcased by an author tossing in free stuff whenever they feel the story is lagging.
Honestly, I stopped reading when I saw the whole "contribution points" business and tasking. Theni fast scrolled to chapter 15 just so I could write this.
Seriously disappointed.
