Generic mindless fun

It's fun and mostly brainless reading to pass the time. Plot repeats and is incoherent.

Well written, especially the political and diplomatic aspects. I wish battles were written better and more in depth to immerse in it, but it was above. Overall recommended.

High quality historical fantasy drama of a boy rising in the ranks of officialdom and fighting against the curropt Ming dynasty system and the enemies that want to rip it apart for themselves.

Boring to me. Lasted till chp 110
